BIOHIT Celiac Quick Test. Near patient test for Celiac Disease (20 Tests)

INFORMATION

The BIOHIT Celiac Quick Test aids the diagnosis of celiac disease from a finger-prick blood sample. Coeliac disease is a relatively common autoimmune disease in which the rye, wheat and barley protein (gluten) causes inflammation and mucosal damage of the small intestine which interferes with the absorption of nutrients.

The Celiac Quick test is a rapid immunochromatographic test designed for the qualitative detection of auto-antibodies (IgA/IgG/IgM) against human tissue transglutaminase (tTG2A) in whole blood samples. This novel point of care test for coeliac disease takes just 10 minutes and can be performed in clinics or laboratories.

Each Celiac Quick Test kit contains 20 tests along with everything needed to perform the test in clinic including lancets, test cassettes and pipettes.

Advantages:

  • Determination of tTG IgA/G/M antibodies (reduces risk of false negatives in individuals with IgA deficiency)

  • For use in the GP practice, Outpatient Clinics, Endoscopy Unit, Community Pharmacies

  • Simple and safe procedure suitable for adult and paediatric patients

  • High Accuracy

  • Results in 10 minutes

Quick test Reader

As an option, the Celiac Quick Test result can be confirmed with the help of the BIOHIT Quick test reader. The BIOHIT Quick Test Reader eliminates the need for user interpretation of the results and enables the transmission of test results to a linked Laboratory Information System where required.
