AccuMed introduces Peptest to the diagnostic marketplace in Ireland.

Peptest is a simple, effective and low cost test that tells you conclusively that a patient has reflux. By measuring pepsin in saliva samples, this is a clear indicator that a reflex episode has occurred because pepsin is only produced in the stomach. If it is detected in the oesophagus, throat, mouth or lungs it identifies reflux and enables a swift and appropriate treatment plan to be made.
